BARolo is always a welcome sight, whenever I go.

Jean Fillioux Reserve Familiale
It’s a cognac whose name isn’t all that well known. There are countless expensive cognacs in the world, but this one has a reputation along the lines of: if it tastes this good, is there really any need to go for something higher? The smoothness, as if the finest wine had been condensed down, and the long finish show you just what a fine cognac ought to be.. The biggest problem of the day.. after drinking this cognac the aroma lingered at the tip of my nose for days, but I had work the next morning, so I couldn’t enjoy that finish to the full — that would be it, I think.. Next time I’d like to drink it the night before a day off..
