There’s a food alley in Mapo. It has always had a variety of places, but lately it seems to have been developed even further. Yukdo is a Korean BBQ joint near the very end of it.

The location isn’t all that great. It’s a fair distance from the station, however you look at it. Maybe that’s why so many customers seemed to clear out once one seating was over.

The meat is really excellent. Good enough that it would be worth coming a long way for.

Doenjang jjigae comes too.

They say they age the pork, and I wasn’t expecting much, but it was better than I expected. Being a bit far out is the problem, but for anyone living in that neighborhood it seems well worth a visit.
