Calling Bakery Rakhui a Yongsan place is a bit of a stretch.. it’s close to Hyochang Park too.. and either way it sits halfway up a hill, so getting there is a slog..

Whisky cream croissant

Hmm.. it’s packed with cream, and with the cheese and a bit of truffle salt it does taste good as something to go with a drink. But you don’t really get much whisky from the cream.

The look of this one is unusual, but as a financier the taste is just excellent.

A high-level soboro bun. I bought it on a recommendation.

Salt bread

Well.. it tastes great, but MUI is good too and there are plenty of other good places, so the average has gone way up lately..

Anyway.. the level of bakeries lately is remarkable. Who’d have thought a place this good would show up..
