There’s a great gopchang joint in Sinnonhyeon. It’s down in a basement, so it isn’t the easiest place to find.. and if you turn up late there are no seats either, so it’s a bit of a challenge.

The name is a bit much, but it’s a small gopchang joint run single-handedly by the owner. Since he’s working alone he’s always busy, so it’s hard even to get a word in. Best to order fast, eat fast and be on your way.

There are rice cakes and a bit of everything else, but the freshness of the gopchang is no joke. This kind of quality can go head to head with Ujeong Yang Gopchang.
