The cafe inside wasn’t running. It was the end of the year around then, so they were taking cake orders.

Everything was sold out, but the Santa-san Christmas cake had a cancellation, so I ordered that one.

The hedgehog caught my eye and I couldn’t not buy it.

It’s a cake called herisson, and it looks like it would be vanilla, but it was actually a rich chocolate cake, close to a Sachertorte.

Macarons

The desserts here are gorgeous to look at, but taste-wise some are good and some aren’t.. it’s a bit hit and miss.. They don’t make the caramel one I liked best any more, so I’m not sure when I’ll be going back…
