Soul Bread is such a famous bakery, but given where it sits, getting there normally means catching a bus. Around this time, though, I happened to move house, and when I looked into the route properly I found I could get there by Ttareungi or even on foot, so off I went. I really didn’t want to use public transport in the middle of the pandemic..

I’m a drinker at heart, so whenever there’s bread that would work as a snack with booze I end up buying it automatically..

Everything here is at a high level. These days it feels like bakeries and sushi places are spreading all over Seoul, and both the level and the popularity are very high. The pandemic leaves me no chance to go to sushi places, so I may as well concentrate on bakeries.
