Yume Chamchi in Sinnonhyeon

A Korean-style tuna place is a bit different from a hoe restaurant, and it has too much character of its own to just call it Japanese food. That whole system does not exist in Japan at all, so I sometimes think we might as well file it under Korean food.

Yume Chamchi is a tuna place near Sinnonhyeon. I did not pick it myself — it was a work dinner, so I do not even know what it costs, and I went in with almost no information at all.

The defining features of a Korean-style tuna place have to be frozen tuna + all-you-can-eat + gim seaweed, I think.. Thanks to that you can eat your fill wherever you go, and it suits soju better than sake..

A few more dishes came out but I did not manage to photograph them.. anyway.. I think it is a pretty standard tuna place. There was a private room, which was nice for a group. I ate well.
