Sugitama is a sake bar run by Katsuro. I had assumed it was an izakaya or a restaurant, but it turns out they can only use Katsuro’s kitchen if you come before nine, so that is when you can order something proper to eat. After nine, only the simple menu is available.
Hououbiden
A sake with a strawberry aroma. The owner goes back and forth to Japan and buys the stock himself, so there are plenty of unusual sakes here.
Otoshi
It was pretty good.
Emishiki, the sake they recommended
They sell it by the glass, and the price per glass is not expensive. Which makes it an easy place to just drop into..
Nu’er Hong
They pour some unusual drinks too..
Anyway, a fun place. The only thing to watch out for is eating before you go..
