I go to outlet malls to buy clothes fairly often. It’s not that I want to spend time or money on clothes, but for the sake of a working life you have no choice but to buy them… that’s about how it feels. The prices, the designs and the quality are all satisfying, so I keep going back.
On this visit, though, I learned something like the secret of outlet malls: some of the clothes and products sold at outlets don’t even exist in the regular stores at all. So even though it’s a genuine brand, to people who know, it can look like a knockoff. And yet the prices are hardly any different, so I have no idea why they even sell such things. The lesson I took away is that unless it’s a consumable, duty-free shops are the better deal.
