Every year Ippudo holds an anniversary event where they sell ramen at half price. This year they ran it with a new ramen called Sauce Tonkotsu as the headliner.

As you would expect from a Fukuoka ramen shop, there is takana and bean sprouts on the table.

With the special toppings it came to more than 500 yen, but I had no complaints about the portion.
The noodles
The taste, though.. kind of okonomiyaki-ish, I would say.. If I had just gone with a regular ramen I would have had nothing to regret.. That said, the Sauce Tonkotsu ramen definitely photographs well.
