Sasanoha is a tiny izakaya run by the owner all by himself. He has apparently been at it for about 40 years. I went with a friend who came over from Korea.
The setup
Everything is prepped in advance.
Order and a plate comes right out.
The quality is excellent.

It’s a salad of minced pork with spices. I never imagined Thai food would come out at an izakaya.

The selection isn’t huge, but they mostly carry popular labels with great value for the money.

Shaoxing wine
Once you’ve eaten a lot, the hidden bottles start coming out. This was nowhere near the level of Shaoxing wine you get at your average Chinese restaurant.
