Motsunabe Yamaya is such a famous place that it even has a branch in Korea. What it’s famous for is the all-you-can-eat mentaiko. I’ve heard the motsunabe at dinner is pretty good too, but these days I rarely have a reason to drink, so I went for lunch. The line is so long that you have to time your visit well to get into this place.

It tastes good, but if this had been the only side dish, I think I would have been a bit let down. Thanks to the all-you-can-eat mentaiko, the satisfaction level is really high. If it weren’t for the line I’d go more often, but the lunchtime line is just way too long…
