1129 (Iiniku) at Decks Tokyo Beach, Odaiba

1129 (Iiniku) is a sister restaurant of Ogawaken, a yoshoku (Japanese-style Western food) restaurant. The name means “good meat” in Japanese, and it sits on the 6th floor of Decks Tokyo Beach in Odaiba. Like every restaurant on this floor, it boasts a great view of the Rainbow Bridge.

Well.. it is a fantastic spot for a date. If the food were good too, you could not ask for more. The only problem is that most of the seats with a good view are couple seats..

Decent enough.

Beef tongue stew

Since it is a branch of Ogawaken, I figured they would be good at yoshoku, so I ordered this. The sauce was tasty, but the quality of the beef tongue was so-so. It is not cheap either, so I was a little disappointed. The hamburg steak seems to be the best thing here. Next time I will just order the hamburg steak set without a second thought..

Decent value and decent taste. If you are not going for a curveball, it is a place where you can eat reasonably well. The house specialty is the mega hamburg steak, and I was surprised to see someone right next to me who came alone and ordered it. Eating 400 g by yourself is no easy feat..

Odaiba has plenty of interesting places, so it is a livable area. The problem would be that getting into the city center is a pain.
