Back at Miro Sikdang again. It is a long way to get there, but for food this good, that much effort is nothing.. Now that the weather is heating up, though, the walk is starting to worry me a little. I should probably look into where to catch the maeul bus (neighborhood minibus) from Sinchon..

Draft beer and Omiberry

I ordered it because I heard it was good, and it is nice and refreshing. I imagine it would be even better mixed into Hwayo.

Tofu

A bit sweeter than the braised tofu I make at home, but it went down nicely as a snack with the beer.

Soy-marinated beef bulgogi

At Miro Sikdang the pork is actually a little better than the beef, but I had that last time, so this time I tried the beef bulgogi.

Shrimp donggeurangttaeng (pan-fried patties)

On the premise that whatever you order will be good, ordering something you have not tried yet is the proper way to enjoy Miro Sikdang. The shrimp was delicious.

Steamed clams

My favorite steamed dish came out on the house. It was so good that I had no choice but to finish it all. The clam meat was thoroughly sweet; I doubt there are many places in Korea that do it this well.
