I really like Bokhwaru, so whenever I need a meal near home I just head there without a second thought.

They’ve done a little renovation, so it’s cleaner now at least.

The menu

There are quite a lot of dishes and I’d love to work my way through them, but the problem is you need enough people. Even just four of us would probably manage it, though.

I was torn between this and tangsuyuk and went with this, but I kind of think the tangsuyuk might have been the better call…

The ganjjajang is good too.

Jjamppong

The jjamppong was just okay. I’m starting to get a feel for the pattern here; if I ordered a few more of the proper dishes I think I’d know for sure what this place is really capable of. I’d like to put together an expedition party, but who knows if it’ll come together.
