I had to sort out lunch in Hamamatsucho, so I headed to Shin-A Hanten — a little pricey, but the food is good.

Stir-fried eggplant
I love stir-fried eggplant, and this place does it really well too.
Mapo tofu
It isn’t all that spicy, so a die-hard mapo tofu fan probably wouldn’t make a special trip for it, but to my taste it’s delicious. The cubes of tofu still hold their edges.
Dessert
The lunch set comes with a dessert, and it was pretty good.
Soup
On my second visit the soup was a different one.

A generous portion, and tasty.
Jajangmyeon
When you live in Japan there are days when you suddenly crave jajangmyeon. The taste is a bit different from Korea, but apparently it’s decent enough.
