Teuscher had been open for a while, but I only found out about it when I actually had to go to Ferrum Tower. That would have been around the time Blooming Garden opened last year. After that I had no reason to go to Myeongdong and forgot all about the good places in Ferrum Tower, but recently I had to stop by the area again, so I paid it a visit.

It sits on the outer side of Ferrum Tower. It is cute and compact, but the mood is so bright and cheerful that it doesn’t immediately strike you as upmarket.
The chocolates
Of all of them, the Champagne Milk truffle is the most famous. Apparently it has Dom Pérignon in it. The prices are on the high side, a little over 3,000 won for a single chocolate. Even so, that’s still cheaper than buying them in Japan with the exchange rate where it is.

The prices aren’t exactly cheap, but being able to buy chocolate of this level in Korea is quite something. And compared with Debauve & Gallais it’s actually a good deal cheaper.
From now on there seems to be no point in hauling ordinary-level chocolate back from Japan. I’m glad this place is here in Korea, so please, don’t ever disappear.
