After going hard the night before, I was desperate for a hangover cure. So I thought I’d hit a ramen shop, but the famous one doesn’t open until 11, so I had to wait around a bit in the morning. Still, you can’t come all the way to Japan and leave without eating ramen, right?
Gyoza
A ramen shop staple. In Japan, a ramen shop that doesn’t serve gyoza and beer won’t be popular. This place does them really well too.
Miso ramen
The toppings are tasty, but the broth is incredible. Perfect for a hangover.
Noodles
They use fairly thick noodles. I was told they were a little overcooked, but they didn’t seem much different from usual to me. I polished off a bowl and headed for the next stop.
