Sightseeing in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia, part 1

Maybe because it’s such a big city, Kuala Lumpur didn’t have all that much to see as a tourist.

The whole story about Korea and Japan building it together or whatever doesn’t really matter. What amazed me is how it manages to be ultra-modern and classically beautiful at the same time.

The hotel room had the direction of prayer marked on the ceiling. Very much the Islamic world.

You can see high-rises and apartment blocks in the back. It reminded me of Seoul.

They say it’s a famous temple that draws huge crowds during festivals, and I can see why.

Apparently lots of them live around here. They’re cute, but they can also attack, so you’re told to be careful..
