The Kobe posts are finally nearing the end… I only have about two months’ worth of posts left to put up -_-;; And yet I’m barely halfway through, so at this pace who knows when I’ll ever finish… sob…
Kobe Port has Meriken Park, Mosaic and so on. There’s plenty to see and a bit of shopping too.
I think the scenery here wouldn’t be put to shame anywhere in the world. Maybe that’s why there seemed to be so many couples on dates…

It’s even nicer at night than during the day… The view is so great that I’d been thinking I should stay at that hotel someday… but before that I need to drop by the Kitano Hotel first ^_^

After wandering around for a good while I got tired. I happened to strike up a conversation with the young woman at the information desk and asked her where the good food was around here, and she recommended the cheesecake at Cafe Kannonya, saying it’s really good.

I’m not that into cheesecake, so at first I wasn’t sure whether to go, but I was a bit hungry anyway and wanted to rest in a café for a while, so when I happened to come across it while walking, I couldn’t be bothered to think it over any further and just went in. (Sometimes it doesn’t work out -_-) Once again, the locals’ recommendation seems to be spot on. It was salty, chewy cheese on top of sweet sponge. Perfect to eat when you’re tired from shopping and sightseeing. I liked it so much I bought a box to take home as a gift. Of course, that was back in February, so it’s long since been eaten…
