Roppongi and Akasaka are the heart of Japan’s political and business world. They’re also very close to each other. After a meal in Roppongi, I went over to Akasaka to take a look at Akasaka Sacas, a complex that recently opened there.

Over at Shinagawa Intercity they went as far as building a whole forest.
Arrived at Akasaka Sacas. But, well… it’s pretty ordinary. Buildings with this mixed residential-commercial concept are going up everywhere. Does it mean the property market has picked up again…

Maybe I should have taken up martial arts too.

Maybe because it’s a neighborhood with a long history, there are a lot of distinctive buildings.

It’s amazing that a place like this still remains right in the middle of Tokyo. It must be because of the Imperial Palace.
