Maybe because there are so many US military bases in Okinawa, there are also lots of American-style restaurants. Charlie’s Tacos is one of them.
I dropped by the main shop on a shopping street called Park Avenue in Koza. It opens at 10, which is a bit awkward for breakfast, but it works fine as a snack.

Tacos and taco rice. I asked for chicken instead of the usual meat in the tacos. Really delicious. It’s on a whole different level from the tacos I had at Jack’s Steak House. For the taco rice, you just mix it all up and eat. It’s spicy, and I think it would suit Korean tastes well.
I was very happy with it, though it felt a little pricey. Well, I’ll think of it as an Okinawa sightseeing souvenir.
