I’d been meaning to check out Bamnidan-gil for ages, and this time I finally made it.
Like this..
It’s a neighborhood of low-rise villas, but the streets are fairly wide, there’s room to park, and it’s all pretty neat and tidy.
And places like this..
Apparently YouTuber Kim Jjamppong raved about it, but my schedule didn’t allow it.. Next time..
God Eat
Another place I’ve seen all over town, and here’s one too.
Dalbit Gwaja Sangjeom
There’s even a dessert shop that got a Blue Ribbon.
A park
This neighborhood has a really nice vibe.. People say Ilsan is a great place to live, and it seems true..
Financière
Something told me they’re pretty good at what they do, so I snapped a photo.
The vibe
There are lots of nice shops, but I think the parking is the real draw here.
Peace Piece
A pie shop I used to go to a lot, and it turns out they’re now running it out here. Skilled people do well wherever they go..
Perse
I wanted to buy some everyday bread in this area, and this was the only place around. The others weren’t open or something like that.
The bread
Hmm.. the quality wasn’t as good as I’d hoped..
Inside
They make a wide range of breads.
Inside
The atmosphere is nice. Honestly, I came because I heard they sell rye bread, and overall it wasn’t the quality I was after, but I needed bread, so I picked up a few things anyway.
Daebakgak
Apparently this is a hugely popular place in Ilsan with massive lines. I’d love to try it someday, but the shame is that if I go alone I’ll have to pick just one: jjajangmyeon or jjamppong.
