Not long after getting back from Boracay, we had a wine gathering at 2chef in Hongdae. I’m heading to Japan soon, so it doubled as a farewell party. This was finally my first chance to try the new menu at 2chef after the renovation.

It felt a shame to open it while it was still so young, but the wine we did open was even younger.. when will any of them ever be ready to drink..

It has already been two months, and I was worn out from the Boracay trip at the time, so I do not really remember how the food tasted. The plating had gotten a bit fancier, but the flavours were much the same as before. I will not be able to drop by often from now on, but I hope it stays a Hongdae landmark for a long time to come.
