Today’s whisky, Linkwood 26 Year Old

This is a whisky I ordered and bought over in Europe… it’s one of the very few I’ve picked up without reading a single review, a pure impulse buy, you could say. I got it because the bottle was pretty… but it isn’t as good as I’d hoped.

Specs

Well… it’s not bad, and the maturation was good, but I don’t think rum casks give you all that complex a flavour. Or maybe it’s just this one… Anyway, next time I’ll have to drink something tastier.
