A friend said they wanted to try it, so we went to Kameido Horumon. Well.. the line is a bit long, but there are not many places this good.

Fresh grapefruit sour

This seems to be the best thing here..

They did not have the tokujo (premium) kalbi, but they had steak instead, so I ordered that.

Well.. it does not have that melt-away tenderness of the tokujo kalbi, but the taste of top-class wagyu is all there.

Horumon

Very fresh. These days there is no real reason to go all the way to Korea for meat. I will still eat it there, though..
