Jinga is a Chinese restaurant opened in Yeonnam-dong by chef Jin Saeng-yong, who I gather became popular on a food show called Junghwa Daebanjeom. I don’t really watch food shows (or rather, I barely watch TV at all), so I have no idea what the show is like. When I actually went, I found that even though it opened almost right in the heart of Yeonnam-dong, the prices were on a par with Jinjin’s.

This really is the signature dish. No off flavors at all, and it was as good as Pyeonuibang’s.

A big group of us came and tried nearly everything on Jinga’s menu, but the only dish memorable enough to stick with me was the eomandu. Hmm.. maybe it was just an off day..

Sorry I can’t remember what any of it was. Anyway, in Yeonnam-dong, Opas is the only answer for round two. Round three is Angel’s Share.. and now that Tuk Tuk has opened, there are even more places worth going to~
