With the weather warming up, I went back to Pyeongyang Myeonok in Nonhyeon-dong for the first time in a while.

Pyeongyang naengmyeon

The taste hasn’t changed at all. The price, though, has gone up to 11,000 won. As someone who has been eating naengmyeon for years, these days I’m honestly scared to admit I love it.

Pyeonyuk

Very good quality. Both the naengmyeon and the pyeonyuk here have their good days and their off days, but this time it was the best of the best.

Mandu

Every side dish here is delicious. Apart from the prices, this place is perfect.

Side dishes

A bowl of cold naengmyeon in summer really lifts the mood. But the price has climbed so much it makes me shudder. Looks like it’ll have to be a once-a-year treat from now on. Or I’ll just have to earn more money, sigh.
