I was out in Myeongdong on a cold day and wanted something with a warm broth. So the place I went to was Misungok.

I thought I had been to Myeongdong plenty of times, but I had no idea there was a seolleongtang house tucked away in a corner like this. Normally I would go to Hadongkwan, but I had heard so many people say it has gone downhill lately that I settled on Misungok.

Seolleongtang
I did not order the special, so there was not a lot of meat, but it still filled me up nicely. My first seolleongtang in ages, so I was quite moved. I had been impressed by a beef-bone ramen not long before, but if I had known it would come to this, I would not have needed to eat it..

For Myeongdong, this seems a fine substitute for Hadongkwan. Next time I am in Myeongdong, there is a good chance I will visit this place again.
